Midlife reinvention

How do I start over with no savings?

You do not need runway. You need one paid thing inside ninety days, and the difference between those two ideas is the difference between planning and moving.

Runway lets you build in private until you are ready. It is comfortable and it is also how people spend two years and arrive nowhere.

Without it, you are forced into the only thing that reliably works: find someone who will pay you a small amount for something adjacent to what you can already do, now. It will not be the thing you eventually want to do. It is the bridge.

Every person I know who rebuilt from nothing did it this way, and every person I know who waited for savings is still waiting.

You are not the only one rebuilding right now.
